TRAVELLING, MOVING, NO CRYING. GUNSHOTS RAGE.

I.
Making water from ice
in the hot hot shade
of Spanish moss
gathered round a four star
campfire, sing songs about
train trips and boat trips
and good ships and
friendships.
Traveling with a sunburn,
howling at the moon.
II.
A dog barks
down a dark alley
and an old man
pisses on the street.
Spilling blood all over himself
looking up at the sky,
wondering why he’s
never been on a plane.
